In this era where content is shared digitally, plagiarism is rampant. We agree that it is an offense and it is at loggerheads with the principles of academic integrity.
Kindly consider this declaration as a word of caution.

The pandemic couldn’t stop the journey of teachers.
They trudged on valourously and I tried too. We all connected over several platforms.
I heard so many of my peers from CBSE schools share their concerns while negotiating the new syllabus format for English. I realised that answering recurring questions wasn’t really helping the teachers at school.

I was fortunate to encounter creative self-motivated, optimistic academics through training sessions and we all got together in centralized WhatsApp groups.
I stumbled through the creation of a YouTube account, shared short tutorial videos about topics or themes teachers were unclear about. I say it with great pride that close to 2000 teachers are now connected via that platform.

A huge number of teachers who have been attending my training sessions, validated the idea of having a personal space, exclusive to the teachers of English, at the school level.

The germination of OUR ABODE was the result of a personal epiphany. I observed that there was a constant requirement for the teacher of English to have resources and training specific to the prescribed curriculum objectives and texts, and I knew I could be of assistance. Agreed that the Internet has endless materials that teachers surf, but times have been tough and teachers continue to have consistent academic and operational pressures.

OUR ABODE is my way to share some of what I’ve imbibed.
A drop in the vast ocean.
A helping hand.
